I am dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to help each client build insight, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from California State University Northridge in 2026 and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Occidental College in 2023. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in both school and mental health settings. I support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, trauma, and emotional regulation difficulties.
As someone who grew up between Japan and the United States, I understand how culture, identity, and life experiences can shape our mental health. I enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and aim to provide culturally responsive care where clients feel understood and respected.
My therapeutic approach is person-centered and strengths-based. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Together, we’ll identify your goals, build on your strengths, and create tools to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.
