Andei is dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and strives to help each client build insight, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
Andei earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from California State University, Northridge and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Occidental College. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in both school and mental health settings. She supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, trauma, and emotional regulation difficulties.
Having grown up between Japan and the United States, Andei understands how culture, identity, and life experiences can shape mental health. She enjoys working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and aims to provide culturally responsive care where clients feel understood and respected.
Andei’s therapeutic approach is person-centered and strengths-based. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Together with her clients, she identifies their goals, builds on their strengths, and develops practical tools to help them navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.
