My professional experience is grounded in more than two decades of dedicated work in the mental‑health field, driven by a deep passion for helping individuals create meaningful and lasting change. I hold a master’s degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and am currently completing an additional master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. These complementary disciplines allow me to integrate mind–body awareness, creative expression, and relational healing into a cohesive and holistic therapeutic approach.
My work is strongly rooted in trauma‑informed care, emphasizing emotional safety, empowerment, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I am committed to supporting individuals in recovery by helping them build insight, strengthen self‑regulation, and reconnect with their sense of identity through both embodied practices and relational awareness.
A central focus of my clinical practice is unifying families, strengthening communication, and establishing healthy boundaries that support long‑term stability and change. I believe deeply in the healing potential of relationships and work to help families rebuild trust, repair emotional ruptures, and develop patterns of connection that honor each person’s needs.
I also bring extensive experience in group facilitation, creating structured, supportive, and culturally responsive spaces where clients can explore emotional patterns, practice new skills, and experience connection with others on similar journeys. My approach blends psychoeducation, experiential learning, and movement‑based interventions to promote insight and resilience.
My training in dance/movement therapy completed at UCLA served as the catalyst for my lifelong commitment to restoring emotional balance, repairing internal disconnection, and supporting clients in reclaiming their authentic selves. As I move into this next phase of my career, I look forward to applying both degrees to facilitate healing, strengthen family systems, and guide individuals toward a more integrated, empowered, and hopeful future.
