Guilia Piscitelli is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, and neurodivergence. She places great importance on active collaboration in the therapeutic process, honoring each client as the expert of their own lived experience. Guilia views her role as a nonjudgmental co-explorer, walking alongside clients as they uncover their most authentic selves and work toward living in greater alignment with that truth.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). In her work with disordered eating, Guilia draws from the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HAES). She is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), which she integrates as needed to best support each client. Guilia is also preparing to receive training in EMDR and looks forward to incorporating it into her work with clients seeking specialized trauma care.
