Families aren’t the problem. They’re part of the solution.
When a child or teen is struggling with anxiety, depression, an eating disorder or big changes at home, everyone feels it. Parents feel helpless. Siblings feel overlooked. Conversations turn into conflict.
Family therapy brings everyone into the same room, helps each person feel heard, and gives parents a clear plan. For teen eating disorders, Family-Based Treatment (FBT), where parents take an active role in recovery, is the leading evidence-based approach.
